The future of four flagship food and wine festivals in central-western New South Wales is uncertain because of a lack of funding and volunteers. The organisation Taste Orange has asked the City Council for $ 80,000 to help run Food and Wine Week, Slow Summer and Frost Fest. It says if the events are cancelled it will cost the region millions of dollars and local tourism businesses will suffer further losses, reports ABC News.
