Yes, we've done it again; our famous Halloween candy and wine pairing has returned! We will take the Halloween candy you often steal from your kid's trick or treating bags and pair them up with some fabulous Lynfred wines. Here's what we're pairing:

Wine Pairing: I've really enjoyed the Cass Winery Grenache a few times, but Pairings had told me the 2010 Cass Mourvedre is even better. It's also about $ 10 more ($35ish total) so I waited to try it with a special meal. The filet mignon definitely qualified! In 2009 I hosted our first ‘ Garrett Popcorn and Wine Pairing' class at Lynfred Winery . I cannot begin to tell you of the enthusiasm from the winery patrons upon the announcement. The event was sold out in one hour and one of the most frequent questions I get from customers is, ‘When are you going to host another popcorn and wine pairing? Wine Pairing: The Castoro Cellars has a light straw color. I got a bit of hibiscus on the nose, and the taste is fresh and lively. I detected kiwi, lemon and a touch of pepper.
