And, finally, the menu pairs a botrytized Washington state riesling with dessert. I'm not a fan of sweet on sweet. But maybe it's enough to get Hu Jintao to grab the mic, and start singing.

Goyard " Domaine de Roally" 1999 Mâcon-Villages " Tradition" ( Mâcon) - Heavy. Lush, hinting at a syrupy texture but with a preserved lime-influenced fruit that cuts against that weight. Botrytized? Possibly. Whether or no, it's nicely mature at this stage, though I don't suppose lovers of more decrepit chardonnay will be in any hurry. (8/10)
…palate offers up those same notes, but with at least an appearance of the sweetness one expects from a botrytized, Sauternes-style dessert wine. Think pepper jelly , which is really quite nice.
Of all the wines I've had, this one as much as or more than any other comes off as "I might like it, but others will not ." Maybe you're one of those others, maybe not. It's worth a shot if you can get your hands on it. Just be prepared.
